Asia Minor, home of the Hellenes for 4000 years. Ionia and Pontus, once home to millions of Hellenes has been torn from the cradle of Hellenism by the butchers of the Balkans, the Turks. The ethnic cleansing of 1 million Pontian Hellenes in 1915 and 1.2 million Ionian Hellenes from Ionia in 1922 cannot be written off and left to dust in the pages of history. We have an obligation to those that lived there, and to those that died there, to tell their story and to correct the historical mistake that is Turkey.
