Macedonia is the home over 2.2 million Macedonian Hellenes and the successor of one of the most powerful Greek kingdoms of antiquity, the kingdom of Macedon. Alexander the Great was born in Macedonia and lived to spread Hellenism to the far corners of the then known world, reaching India to the east. His legacy, and that of all Macedonians, is challenged by a misguided Bulgaro-Gypsian people who feel the need to appropriate someone else's history to justify their existence as a nation and a state. Their claims are ridiculous. Macedonians were and have always been Greek. The facts are simple and readily available. They follow and are irrefutable.
